Hi, thanks for visiting my website!
Photography has been a lifelong source of friendships and adventure for me and I have been honing my craft since I was a kid. I've been a full time professional photographer since 2010 and I'm proud that I've been able to stay busy in such a competitive market with local clients including The Grand Ole Opry, Frist Museum, Nashville Symphony and national clients such as HGTV, Health Magazine, and AEG Live Events.

I enjoy taking my 11 year old daughter Sophia on bike rides and reading Harry Potter to her before bed time. That is Velma in the bike basket.
My wife Samantha is an artist and an Emmy Award winning art educator at The Frist Art Museum. She makes a great traveling companion.
I was raised on cello lessons but fell in love with guitar years later when my Dad taught me Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice". I write songs, record, play open mics and earned a BS degree in Music Production.
I love the outdoors. I'm an Eagle Scout and enjoy any excuse to get together with friends around camp fires, kayaks, ski slopes, and craft beer. This is a photo with my brothers.
I listen to audiobooks while I'm editing photos. I usually get through 40 per year. I'm always looking for recommendations and ready to dish them out.
Last year I turned 40 and my mid-life crisis has included joining adult softball and soccer leagues, playing more tennis, and doing cross-fit workout but no new sports car for me.
I grew up on a farm in Santa Fe, TN and went to Father Ryan High School. I went to college at Ole Miss, MTSU and UT Knoxville where I took a photojournalism class that changed my life. I worked at Vanderbilt before going full time with photography.
I've run with the bulls in Pamplona, hiked the Inka trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, twice watched the Bastille Day fireworks under the Eiffel Tower, and visited the Taj Mahal in India.
